Luxasolar® has a wide range of applications for private residences, listed buildings and shops. Thanks to its exceptional transparency, the appearance of your glass almost doesn't change.

During  the summer  this unique spectrally selective glass foil blocks up to 93% of harmful infrared heat and generates temperature drops up to 10°C.
Luxasolar® window films let the visible light in and work as a filter. Warmth radiation up to 21°C still passes through, but above that temperature the sun heat is filtered. How higher the outside temperature, how higher the drop of temperature caused by Luxasolar®. For an optimal result, it is recommended that you have all windowpanes through which the sun can shine in, treated with a glass foil.





During the winter, the thermal insulation of your windows is improved substantially. After the installation of Luxasolar® window films, the U-value of single pane glazing is improved to the U-value of double pane glazing, the U-value of double pane glazing is improved to the U-value of HR+ glazing, and HR+ glazing to the U-value of HR++ glazing.
Thanks to its unique composition, the accumulated heat is then kept in the room, providing average energy savings on heat costs up to 30%, depending on the type of glazing.

Normal single pane glazing has a U-value of 5,8 W/m²K. After installation of Luxasolar this value is improved to 2,5 W/m²K = improvement of 57%.
Normal double pane glazing has a U-value of 2,9 W/m²K. After installation of Luxasolar this value is improved to 1,6 W/m²K = improvement of 45%.
Normal HR+ glazing has a U-value of 1,1 W/m²K. After installation of Luxasolar this value is improved to 0,97 W/m²K = improvement of 12%.

A maximum comfort is provided during summer and winter.

Also, this intelligent foil blocks 99% of the ultraviolet rays, and therefore stops your expensive interiors from becoming discolored. This means you can enjoy a pleasant internal temperature, without spoiling the optical transparency.
Also, once installed, Luxasolar® provides you with an extra security. Glass is a fragile building material and is also very attractive for burglars.
Luxasolar® window films strengthen your glass surfaces and ensure that shards of glass do not injure you if the glass is broken.
The glass foil is applied to the inside of the glazing without any cutting or breaking work.

In the South houses have small windows in order to keep the heat of the sun out. But owing to the nice weather, there's still plenty of light inside. We up here on the other hand are craving for light and thus opt for large glass surfaces. Nowhere are sun lounges more popular than in Europe. When one says 'light', at the same time 'warmth' is meant..., the effect of a greenhouse. Consequences are that our interior furnishings fade because of the sun, temperature is too high in our living room, and in summer a sun lounge is not comfortable to live in. Applying Luxasolar® to vertical or slanting glazing poses no problems whatsoever. This makes it possible to fully block out the extreme heat in sun lounges without having to change their appearance.
